Hip hop, also known as rap is a genre of popular music that originated in the US. It was developed by inner-city African Americans, Latino Americans, and Caribbean Americans in the Bronx as a movement through which artists have been cautioning people about the problems of the society. It consists of stylized rhythmic music that usually accompanies rapping, rhythmic and rhyming speech that is chanted.
