Kovsie FM 97.0 is a South African community station that was founded by a group of students in 1978 and broadcasts from Bloemfontein, located on the campus of the University of the Free State. It broadcasts in three languages 24/7 and is focused on young people between the ages of 15-30. Its line up consists of 80% music and 20% talk and includes various music shows, local Top 40, news reports, entertainment shows. Kovsie FM is actively involved in the life of its community by sponsoring various events.
